Terms and Conditions
Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days and are subject to change. Should any extra
work be required due to unforeseen circumstances you will be informed at the
earliest opportunity and this will be added to the final invoice. Any deadlines
affected by such circumstance will not be compensated, we cannot be held
responsible for delays due to circumstance beyond our control (e.g. Weather).
All jobs over £500 require a 25% deposit which must be paid when the order is
placed and a start date is agreed, deposits are non-refundable. It is the
customer’s responsibility to arrange the removal of waste if required (ie order &
pay for a skip or waste collection) therefore this is not included in the quotation
unless otherwise agreed.
Working conditions
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure working areas are well lit and clear
from obstruction, pets and children are kept away and access is provided to the
working areas. Work will be carried out during normal working hours, 8am to
8pm Monday – Friday.
Powerflushing
Powerflushing will be carried out with due care, but we can not be held
responsible for any leaks caused by the high pressure used, and these will be
charged as extras. Where it is found that a system works on a one pipe circuit or
microbore pipe work we do not guarantee that powerflushing will be successful.
Servicing
Any faulty components found during servicing will be replaced at an extra cost
which we will agree with you upon discovering the fault. Any upgrades that are
required to bring your installation up to current standards (e.g. ventilation, flue
work etc) will be quoted for when the service is complete.
Repairs
Repair work will be carried out using as much manufacturer information as
possible. Any upgrades that are required to bring your installation up to current
standards (e.g. ventilation, flue work etc) will be quoted for when the repair is
complete.
Payment & Guarantees
Payment is due on completion of work. Cheques made payable to CS Spencer
Heating and Plumbing. Any payment not received within 7 days of completion of
work is subject to a charge of 5% per month + administration costs, unless
otherwise agreed.
Any guarantees do not include any third party work or damage carried out after
completion of work.
